The word Dual is operationally important. A dual-processor host can expose non-uniform memory access, so placement and locality may affect a workload. The catalogue does not publish socket topology or measured NUMA effects; confirm the delivered platform and test rather than assuming twice the cores means twice the result.

Check that software can cross the larger machine

Parallel jobs need enough independent work and limited coordination overhead. Virtualization needs a guest-placement policy that considers memory locality, host reserve and failure recovery.
