Consider the Ryzen 9 7950X when software qualification calls for its DDR5 platform or when your own test shows a useful advantage that offsets the current price difference.

Do not pay for a memory-generation label without a reason. Conversely, do not reject the DDR5 system solely because the visible resource counts are equal. Libraries, hypervisors and compilation workloads can react differently, and the catalogue does not provide those measurements.
