What IP allocations are listed with each server?
Each rental includes an IPv4 /29 block and an IPv6 /64 allocation. These are prefix sizes, not a promise that every IPv4 address in the block can be assigned directly to a host. Gateway, routing, network, broadcast, and reserved-address rules depend on the delivered design. Configure only the assignments and instructions shown for your server rather than deriving usable addresses from the prefix alone.
Back to top ↑Does an IPv4 /29 mean eight usable server addresses?
Not necessarily. A /29 contains eight numerical IPv4 addresses, but the usable count depends on whether the block is routed, how the gateway is provided, and which addresses are reserved. The service does not yet publish one universal topology for every delivery. Wait for the actual assignment list and network instructions before configuring interfaces, virtual machines, or public services.
Back to top ↑How does reverse DNS editing work?
You can set a fully qualified hostname, or clear the value, for an IP assignment belonging to your server. Invalid names are rejected. Saving records the desired PTR value; the operator must still apply it to public DNS. Publication status is not shown in the account. Verify the answer with an independent DNS lookup before relying on the new hostname.

Additional /28 and /27 IPv4 blocks are quote-based options. Pricing, routing, usable-address count, regional availability, and delivery time depend on the approved allocation. Self-service ordering is not available yet. Use the contact form to record an enquiry and describe the technical need, but wait for a specific quote and confirmed assignment before designing services around the extra space.
Back to top ↑What does unmetered bandwidth mean?
Unmetered means the included port has no transfer-volume charge. It does not guarantee continuous line-rate throughput, fixed latency, or exemption from network and acceptable-use controls. Port speed is only one limit in an end-to-end path. Measure traffic from the server and check routing, protocol overhead, remote endpoints, and operating-system settings before attributing a throughput result to the port itself.
Back to top ↑Does the dashboard currently provide live bandwidth graphs?
Not yet. The account includes a bandwidth-chart placeholder, but live traffic samples and time-series measurements are not available. The network view can list assigned addresses rather than usage history. Until telemetry is connected, collect interface statistics inside the operating system or with your own monitoring tools. Unmetered billing does not remove the need to monitor capacity, congestion, or unexpected traffic.

Included port speeds are Ryzen: 1 Gbps; Xeon: 1 Gbps; EPYC: 10 Gbps. A 10 Gbps upgrade for other eligible systems is listed as a quote-based option, without self-service ordering or a published price. The configured port speed is a service attribute, not a guarantee that every remote path, application, or single transfer will reach that rate. Test from locations and protocols relevant to your workload.
Back to top ↑How do baseline and advanced DDoS protection work?
Baseline DDoS protection is included with each rental. Advanced protection requires a quote. Changing the protection mode creates a queued request; Queued confirms receipt but does not prove that physical filtering has been activated. Treat advanced protection as requested until activation is explicitly confirmed. Host hardening, application controls, rate limits, and a tested incident plan remain your responsibility.
Back to top ↑Who secures the operating system and applications?
You are responsible for the installed operating system, applications, credentials, firewall rules, patches, and backups. Included network protection does not replace host hardening or application security. Use least privilege, restrict management access, keep software current, monitor logs, and maintain tested copies outside the server. Infrastructure policies and abuse handling do not make an unmanaged workload automatically secure.

Use the contact form and select Abuse or Security. Include UTC timestamps, relevant source and destination addresses, server or order references when known, and evidence that can be shared safely. Never include passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or unrelated personal data. The form returns a reference, but reply retrieval and ticket-status tracking are not available yet, and the entered account handle is not authentication.
