Before you start

  • A server listed in your account.
  • Its paid-through date and billing term.
  • Enough credited balance for renewal, plus an independent backup before any expiry.

Use the paid-through date as your reference

Open Servers and read Paid through for the machine you are checking. Weekly terms cover seven days; the current monthly term covers thirty days, rather than a variable calendar month. The displayed date is rendered using your browser’s local time, so record the time zone when discussing a deadline with an operator.

New orders enable automatic renewal. The account interface currently has no switch to disable renewal or a self-service cancellation button. Power off is a hardware action and does not cancel billing. If you intend to end a service, submit a request with the server reference early enough to obtain an operator response; do not assume a submitted request has changed the renewal setting.

Follow the renewal timeline

These checks run on the service schedule; they are not a promise that a state change or hardware operation happens at the exact displayed second. The account state and the physical machine can change at different moments while an operator action is being processed.

Point in the cycleAccount behaviorWhat you should do
Within 24 hours before paid-throughThe scheduler attempts renewal for active servers with automatic renewal enabled.Keep enough credited balance available.
Renewal succeedsA renewal debit is recorded and paid-through advances by the purchased term.Check the ledger and new date.
Paid-through passes without renewalThe server becomes suspended; a power-off request is queued.Check the remaining grace period immediately.
Within 72 hours after expiryEligible suspended servers can renew from newly available balance.Fund in time and verify the new state.
Grace period endsThe server enters reclaiming and secure erasure is queued.Do not rely on continued access or data recovery.

Prepare before the deadline

A pending crypto transfer is not spendable balance. A withdrawal request also places a hold on balance, reducing the amount available for renewals. Consider both when deciding how much credited balance must remain.

  1. Check the paid-through dates of all servers, especially if several renew together.
  2. Review the current balance in Billing and the renewal entries already recorded.
  3. Add funds early enough for the selected network’s confirmations and settlement reporting.
  4. After renewal, reload Servers and confirm that Paid through advanced. Confirm the corresponding Renewal debit in the ledger.
  5. Maintain a backup outside the rented server before the expiry window, regardless of whether you expect renewal to succeed.

Recover during the grace period

If the server is suspended and automatic renewal remains enabled, the scheduler can debit sufficient balance during the grace period and return its account state to active. It also queues a power-on request. Paid-through advances from the previous paid-through date, so funding after expiry does not begin a fresh term from the payment time.

Refresh the account to verify both the renewal debit and updated server state. If the account is active but the machine remains unreachable, use the server recovery procedure or contact the operator with the server reference. Repeated deposits or repeated power actions are not a substitute for checking the result.
