Dedicated workload

Bare metal web hosting

Rent a whole machine for your web stack, not a shared hosting account. Choose the allocation around your applications and decide which services should share one host.

Hardware priorities

  • fixed cost — verify it against the application, dataset and recovery objective.
  • public IP space — verify it against the application, dataset and recovery objective.
  • fast recovery — verify it against the application, dataset and recovery objective.

Selection rule

Start with fixed cost, public IP space, fast recovery. Leave headroom for recovery work, then compare the fixed monthly price with the same workload's metered alternatives.

Deployment path

  1. Select a configuration and US region.
  2. Choose Debian or attach a custom ISO.
  3. Add an SSH key and fund the USD ledger with crypto.
  4. Confirm the installation window and wait for completed delivery before moving production traffic.

Before you choose

Choose hardware for the job you need.

3 min guide

Define what moves onto the machine

Inventory the applications, runtimes, databases, caches, scheduled jobs and deployment tools you intend to host. Use peak resource measurements where available, including releases and backup windows. A count of websites alone says little about the hardware required by their visitors or background work.

Decide whether one machine will hold the complete stack or only one tier. Consolidation can simplify a small deployment, but it also places those services in the same host failure domain. If separate customers need stronger isolation or independent maintenance, include that requirement in the design before choosing the rental.

Compare a compact host with larger allocations

Choose the smallest candidate that fits measured demand plus room for maintenance and growth. The shortlist does not promise requests per second, tenant counts or automatic application scaling.

  • Ryzen 5 3600: 64 GB RAM and 1.024 TB raw NVMe. Compare this lower-priced starting point for a compact stack with controlled storage needs.
  • Ryzen 9 5950X: 16 cores, 128 GB RAM and 4 TB raw NVMe. Consider the larger allocation for several applications or background workers.
  • EPYC 7402P: 128 GB listed ECC memory and a 10 Gbps port. Compare it when the memory specification or network requirement makes the EPYC offer relevant.

Include the work a hosting plan would normally hide

The rental does not include managed websites, domain registration, a commercial control-panel licence, email hosting or application support. You arrange software rights, updates, certificates, DNS changes and access controls. Choose an operating system supported by your actual stack and confirm its release before installation.

Public address allocations are listed service features, not configured domains or guaranteed email delivery. Confirm addressing and routing needs for the intended order. A second server also does not establish a private application network; request confirmation if tier separation depends on one.

Plan a reversible migration and a complete budget

Keep independent copies of application data, databases, configuration and deployment secrets. Decide how the stack will be rebuilt if the host is unavailable. Disk redundancy is not a substitute for those copies, and moving every backup onto the same machine does not provide a separate recovery destination.

Compare rental price with licences, backup storage and your administration effort. Test the application on the delivered server before directing production traffic to it. Keep the old environment available for the agreed transition, and check that renewal funding covers the infrastructure you intend to retain.

Questions before you order

Is a control panel or website migration included?

No. This page covers hardware rental, not managed web hosting. Arrange panel licensing and migration work separately, and confirm any assistance before ordering.

Can I host multiple applications on one server?

Yes, subject to your software, resource allocation and service terms. You manage separation and capacity; all applications on the same machine share its host-level availability.
